Top Shelf Painting has been a trusted name in Macomb and Oakland Counties since 1998. With consistent demand and a strong local reputation, we’re looking for a motivated In-Home Sales Representative to meet with homeowners, provide estimates, and close deals.
This is not a cold-calling role. You’ll be running pre-qualified, warm appointments and turning them into booked jobs.
What You’ll Be Doing- Run scheduled in-home appointments with homeowners
- Measure spaces and assess project scope
- Present solutions for painting, cabinets, and countertops
- Manage your pipeline and follow up with prospects
- Option to generate your own leads for higher commission
- Warm, inbound leads so you can focus on selling
- Training on estimating, pricing, and closing
- Established brand with 25+ years of trust in Metro Detroit
- High-demand, high-ticket services
- Repeat and referral business
- Increased commission for self-generated work Support from operations and estimating teams
- Opportunity for growth and higher earnings
- Someone who can talk to people and close deals
- 2+ Years of Sales experience
- Background in construction, painting, or home improvement is a plus.
- Comfortable measuring and discussing projects with homeowners
- Self-motivated and performance-driven
- Someone who values a flexible schedule
- Commission-based with uncapped earning potential
- Typical earnings in this field in our area range widely; many experienced reps earn between $65,000 and $250,000+ annually depending on performance. Exact pay structure to be discussed during interview.
