Security Officer Patrol Ambassador

As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic location where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. • Fri: 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 09:00 PM

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and/or unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
• Document routine activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
