Security Officer – Office Complex, Detroit, MI

Full Time, $18.50 per hour

• Wednesday: 04:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 04:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 04:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 09:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
• Document routine activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screening may be required as a condition of employment.
• Criminal history will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
