Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary

Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician. Walmart is looking for experienced professionals to maintain facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment, and by employing hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide a prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• Vocational or technical certification and at least 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, or material handling equipment, or an equivalent trade, or 7 years’ experience in these trades.
• 1 year of experience using intermediate‑level functionality of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
