Commercial Roofing Service Technician

. This position requires a career‑minded, self‑motivated individual capable of establishing strong customer relations and professional services. In addition, you must be able to accurately diagnose and resolve the client’s roof‑related issues.

• Perform hands‑on service and repairs on commercial flat roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, and BUR
• Conduct detailed roof inspections and diagnose deficiencies, leaks, and wear‑and‑tear issues accurately
• Execute timely, high‑quality repairs and preventive maintenance while adhering to safety protocols and industry best practices
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, documenting findings and recommending solutions using mobile reporting tools
• Collaborate closely with the Service Manager to plan daily routes, ensure timely project completion, and update job statuses
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and materials in clean, organized, and operational condition
• Represent Superior Services R.S.H., Inc. with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence on every job site
• Continue learning and developing skills through on‑the‑job training, manufacturer certifications, and team mentoring

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in commercial roofing service, repairs, or installation (TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, or Modified Bitumen)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a commitment to getting the job done right the first time
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, roofing safety practices, and OSHA standards
• Ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in various weather conditions and heights
• Professional attitude, reliable work ethic, and a team‑first mindset
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain work performed
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus)
• Willingness to learn, grow, and earn manufacturer and safety certifications as part of a high‑performing team

Job Type: Full-time, On‑call

Pay: $20 to $35 an hour

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday through Friday, Weekends as Needed

Work Location: On the road, based out of the Detroit, MI metro area
