Waste Process Technician I (WPT I)

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I to perform essential waste‑processing activities across multiple business units. This entry‑level position handles truck off‑loading, QA/QC of waste streams, equipment operation, and regulatory documentation.

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support safety and compliance.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools, in accordance with company policies and OSHA requirements.
• Safely operate mobile equipment (e.g., yard dog) within facility boundaries.
• Off‑load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
• Perform waste‑stream QA/QC and lab analysis associated with receiving and shipping waste and material.
• Complete and submit all facility‑associated paperwork (receiving, piece count, material verification, manifest review, etc.) for regulatory and safety record‑keeping.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the facility and grounds.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• GED completed through Reworld’s GED Works program.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
• Experience with Net Suite.
• Good judgment and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and time‑management abilities.
• Capacity to operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with kneeling, crawling, stooping, bending, or twisting for extended periods.
• Capability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

$39,200.00 – $52,100.00 USD annually (based on primary location). The final salary will reflect experience, education, geographic location, skills, and other factors.
