About the OpportunityFinish Line Staffing is seeking an experienced Project Site Supervisor to lead commercial and industrial equipment installations, facility modifications, and large-scale project execution across Metro Detroit and national customer sites for an exciting client.
This is a hands-on field leadership opportunity for someone who is experienced in industrial installations, equipment integration, construction-related field operations, and coordinating skilled trades. The Project Site Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards while serving as a professional representative of our client at customer facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day on-site execution of industrial installation and equipment integration projects.
- Maintain project schedules, milestones, and daily activity plans.
- Coordinate skilled trades, subcontractors, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Allocate labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to support project execution.
- Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards across all work areas.
- Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolve field issues and keep projects moving forward.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing representative at project sites.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and installation records.
- Support commissioning, industrialization, and equipment startup activities.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and resource requirements to company leadership and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience supervising industrial installations, equipment commissioning, or construction-related field operations
. - Strong experience coordinating skilled trades and managing field labor.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and efficiently allocate resources.
- Experience with quality control, risk management, and complex project execution.
- Strong customer communication and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools, documentation systems, and reporting.
- Ability to travel extensively and work on-site in fast-paced industrial environments.
- 3-4 years of experience in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
