Maintenance Technician

** Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift*
* Adecco Permanent Recruitment Team has partnered with a growing technology-driven manufacturing company to identify an experienced Maintenance Technician for their 1st shift operation in Metro Detroit.

** Position Overview*
* The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and production machinery. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, making repairs, and helping keep a manufacturing operation running efficiently.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery

+ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

+ Perform equipment installations, modifications, and repairs

+ Respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance needs

+ Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance

+ Maintain and repair facility equipment and systems as needed

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals

+ Assist with equipment improvements, modifications, and process improvements

+ Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

+ Work with production and other team members to identify and resolve equipment issues

+ Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment

** Qualifications*
* + Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment

+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

+

Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems

+ Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

+

Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment repair

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

+ Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification is a plus

** Schedule & Compensation*
* + 1st

Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with some flexibility

+ Up to $32/hour, based on experience

+ Full-time, direct-hire opportunity
