Entry-Level / Apprentice Electrician

Location: Detroit/Hamtramck Area
Pay: $20+/hour to start, based on experience
Schedule: 1st Shift
Overtime: Available

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level / Apprentice Electrician to join our team in the Detroit/Hamtramck area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their electrical career and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Candidates with previous experience working with industrial lighting are strongly preferred.

Experience with
commercial lighting will also be considered.

• Entry-level candidates and electrical apprentices are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience with industrial lighting preferred
• Commercial lighting experience is also a plus
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices
• Ability to use common hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Electrical coursework, trade school, or apprenticeship experience is a plus

• Assist with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot lighting systems
• Assist experienced electricians with assigned projects
• Work with industrial and/or commercial lighting systems
• Safely use hand and power tools
• Follow electrical codes, safety procedures, and company guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Learn and develop electrical skills through hands-on experience

The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, motivated, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn the electrical trade
. While industrial lighting experience is preferred, we are willing to consider candidates with commercial lighting experience or those who are newer to the trade and have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
