Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across various commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards (National Electrical Code), and safety procedures.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex electrical projects, including high-voltage wiring, commercial electrical systems, and renovation projects, while contributing to safe and efficient operations.

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential environments using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
• Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and troubleshooting techniques to identify faults quickly.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes.
• Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures during all phases of installation and repair work.
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including framing carpentry and general construction tasks as needed.
• Document work performed through detailed reports and logs to ensure proper recordkeeping for inspections and future reference.

• Proven experience as an residential electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
• Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and blueprints reading to accurately execute wiring plans.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment.
• Ability to perform electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects while adhering to electrical safety procedures.
• Familiarity with construction site experience, frame carpentry, handyman skills, and general renovation work is a plus.
