Humbug Holiday Lighting is hiring for the holiday season!
Looking for a job that beats standing inside under fluorescent lights all day? Come help us transform homes and businesses into incredible holiday displays.
No holiday lighting experience is required — we can teach you the lighting side. What we can't teach is attitude, reliability, and a willingness to work.
What You'll Be Doing- Installing professional Christmas and holiday lighting
- Working on residential homes and commercial properties
- Using extension ladders, roof access, and lifts
- Running and securing lighting along rooflines, trees, landscaping, and buildings
- Troubleshooting and servicing displays throughout the season
- Helping with takedowns after the holidays
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders — this is a must
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable and shows up when scheduled
- Able to work outdoors in Michigan fall/winter weather
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Able to work well with a crew and follow directions
- Attention to detail — our installs need to look sharp
Have experience operating a boom lift, bucket lift, scissor lift, or other aerial equipment? We definitely want to hear from you.
Construction, roofing, landscaping, electrical, window cleaning, tree service, gutter, signage, or similar experience is also a plus — but not required
.
$15–$25/hour, depending on experience, ability, reliability, and lift/ladder experience.
This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone who likes working outside, isn't afraid of heights, enjoys seeing the finished product at the end of the day, and wants the opportunity to earn solid money during our busiest season.
No experience? No problem. Bring a good attitude, be dependable, and we’ll teach you the rest.
