What Youll Do
- Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Care coordination across behavioral and physical health systems
- Crisis stabilization and treatment planning
- Collaboration with families, schools, courts, and community providers
- Supervision and mentorship of trainees/residents
- Trauma-informed and motivational interviewing approaches
Qualifications
Required
- MD or DO
- Completion of Psychiatry Residency + Child/Adolescent Fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Michigan medical licensure (or eligible)
- DEA & controlled substance licensure
Preferred
- Community mental health or CCBHC experience
- Experience treating children/adolescents/families
- Additional Child & Adolescent Psychiatry board certification
