Social Worker School

Epic Special Education Staffing seeks a School Social Worker for the school year. In this role, you'll support K-12 students with diverse academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities include individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, participation in IEP/504 teams, behavior planning, and connecting families with community resources. Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to K-12 students to address social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments, following school and district protocols
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing social-emotional and family context to plans
• Develop and help implement behavior intervention plans in collaboration with school teams
• Coordinate with families and connect them to community and mental health resources
• Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and compliance with special education regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student progress
• Assist with school-wide initiatives that promote positive behavior, inclusion, and mental wellness
