Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Event Operations Intern to support on-site operations at our baseball events/ tournaments. This internship provides hands-on experience in live event operations and sports management. Interns will assist with day-to-day tournament activities and help ensure a positive experience for players, families, and spectators.

Responsibilities

• Assist with selling merchandise at the merchandise stand, including handling cash and digital payments
• Collect admission fees at tournament gates and provide basic customer service to attendees
• Capture video footage and player highlights during games
• Support general event operations as needed, including setup and breakdown of event areas
• Interact professionally with parents, coaches, players, and staff
• Follow event procedures and represent the organization in a positive manner

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from high school or college
• Interest in sports, events, or media is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift light items as needed
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours during tournament days

Compensation and Credit:

This internship offers a $1500 stipend for the duration of the program and is eligible for college credit, pending approval by the interns academic institution
