Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc., is a leading third party logistics provider (3PL) that offers a broad scope of services throughout the entire supply chain. LINC's experienced management team, with its state-of-the-art technology, provides customized logistics solutions to its customers resulting in proven efficiencies and savings.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Supervise all inbound and outbound dock operations for cross-docking, including trailer unloading, freight scanning, sortation, and reloading.

Lead a team of material handlers, forklift operators, and dockworkers.

Monitor labor productivity, accuracy rates, and trailer dwell times to meet or exceed performance KPIs.Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations, safety updates, and workload forecasts.

Collaborate with Walmart transportation, yard management, and customer service teams to ensure smooth flow of freight and timely departures.

Ensure all equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners) is operational and properly maintained.

Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits and incident investigations.

Train and mentor dock staff on procedures, performance goals, and operational standards.

Prepare shift reports, performance data, and other documentation as required

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred

Effective oral and written communication skills

Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail

Strong work ethic, ability to multitaskA competitive and career-oriented mindset0-5 years supervisory or management experience in a warehousing, distribution or transportation environment
