Shift: Days 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
General
Summary:
Receives goods as ordered and delivered and processes packing slips into departmental computer systems, while giving priority to rush items.
- Verifies receipt of items against packing slip. Checks in items against purchase orders.
- Enters inventory received into database for tracking.
- Processes returned items for shipping and schedules pick up.
- Investigates and troubleshoots any received goods for issues/problems.
- Maintains receiving and dock area in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Raises awareness of dock security issues.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note:
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Shipping and receiving experience is preferred. - Shipping and receiving or general supply chain experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using handheld transactional devices and computer keyboards.
