Commissary Warehouse Porter

The opportunity

Delaware North Sport service is hiring seasonal Commissary Warehouse Porters to join our team at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. As a Warehouse Porter you will deliver food, beverage, and other products throughout the venue in an efficient and timely manner.

$16.45 – $16.45 / hour

• Deliver food, beverages, and other products throughout the venue using push carts and pallet jacks
• Assist with maintaining inventory
• Ensure proper food documentation when receiving and storing food products
• Gather and sort orders to be sent for delivery
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas
• Report all needed repairs to your supervisor

• No prior experience is required
• Basic math skills for counting inventory
• Ability to work cooperatively with other team members in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching during the entire length of the shift
• Exposure to varying outdoor temperatures depending on the season
