ole Purpose
Receives,storesanddistributesfreightwithinestablishedguidelinesbyperformingthefollowingduties.
What you will be doing
- Reads Airway bills, bills of landing, or freight manifest to determine the items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
- Conveysfreightfromreceivingareastostorageortootherdesignatedareaswithforkliftortransporter.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as consignee or destination.
- Sortsandstoresall dangerousgoodsinproperarea
- Fillrequisitions,workordersorrequestsformaterials, toolsorotherstockitemsand distributeitemsto other locations.
- Openbales,crates,andothercontainersforbreakdown.
Recordscountofitemsreceivedordistributed. Weighs and countsitemsfordistribution within the warehousetoensure conformancetocompanystandards and air waybill. - Performscargobuild-upand/or breakdowns,freighttoand/orfromskid,palletsorULDs.
- Ensuresthatworkareasarecleanandhazardfreeofloosenets,straps,etc. ·
- Mustpracticeall Company'sSafety
Policyinclusiveof, butnotlimitedtowearingPPE,equipment operation, safe lifting proceduresorobeying speed limitswhen driving companyvehiclesand equipment. - Mustfollowall Securityproceduresasrequired.

What we are looking for:
- Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass Drug testing.
- Must have High School diploma or GED.
- Must have a current driver license with no violations over the past 5 years.
- Forklift certificate preferred, but not necessary.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
- Must be able tolift upto 70 lbs.
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays. Previous customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport and Custom badges/seals.
