ole Purpose

Receives,storesanddistributesfreightwithinestablishedguidelinesbyperformingthefollowingduties.

What you will be doing

• Reads Airway bills, bills of landing, or freight manifest to determine the items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Conveysfreightfromreceivingareastostorageortootherdesignatedareaswithforkliftortransporter.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as consignee or destination.
• Sortsandstoresall dangerousgoodsinproperarea
• Fillrequisitions,workordersorrequestsformaterials, toolsorotherstockitemsand distributeitemsto other locations.
• Openbales,crates,andothercontainersforbreakdown.
  
  Recordscountofitemsreceivedordistributed. Weighs and countsitemsfordistribution within the warehousetoensure conformancetocompanystandards and air waybill.
• Performscargobuild-upand/or breakdowns,freighttoand/orfromskid,palletsorULDs.
• Ensuresthatworkareasarecleanandhazardfreeofloosenets,straps,etc. ·
• Mustpracticeall Company'sSafety
  
  Policyinclusiveof, butnotlimitedtowearingPPE,equipment operation, safe lifting proceduresorobeying speed limitswhen driving companyvehiclesand equipment.
• Mustfollowall Securityproceduresasrequired.
• Other dutiesasassigned

What we are looking for:

• Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass Drug testing.
• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Must have a current driver license with no violations over the past 5 years.
• Forklift certificate preferred, but not necessary.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
• Must be able tolift upto 70 lbs.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays. Previous customer service experience preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport and Custom badges/seals.
