Overview
Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone is Hiring an Administrative Assistant in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Mountain Lakes Human Service Zone is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and provide administrative assistance to staff and members of the public.
Responsibilities- Greet and assist clients, staff, and community members in a professional and respectful manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries
- Provide administrative support to supervisors and program staff
- Maintain office supplies and assist with general office organization
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Support department operations and special projects as assigned
This position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
To succeed in this position, you must be able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism, compassion, confidentiality and reliability. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high demand environment where attention to detail is critical. You will communicate clearly and respectively with staff, clients and community partners while maintaining strict confidentiality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
ToBe Considered For This Role
You must have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma and two years of office support, clerical, or secretarial work experience. Coursework in a vocational office support or closely related program may substitute for the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis if it provided the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
Proficiency in keyboarding, personal computer, specific software, grammar, or spelling skills.
