Staffing Coordinator
Eventide Heartland Care Center is currently recruiting for a Staffing Coordinator. The position is full time, Monday - Friday 8:00a - 4:30p.
The Staffing Coordinator arranges and coordinates staff coverage for resident care departments based on established guidelines and needs as determined by the Director of Nursing and Resident Care Managers.
Essential functions include:
- Preparing and maintaining schedules for all resident care staff. The schedule will be posted in advance and personnel will be informed of any changes made to the schedule.
- Monitoring schedules on a daily basis. Securing replacements as needed.
- Performing clerical and telephone duties requiring a working knowledge of office machines, departmental programs, operating procedures, computers, and filing.
- Informing Human Resource department of hiring needs for direct care positions.
- Supporting and maintaining effective and positive communication and working relations with all staff.
- Assuming additional responsibilities and duties as directed by the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing.
Education and experience:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Secondary education is preferred.
Compensation:
