Part-time Education Instructor
LOCATION:
Devils Lake, ND (on-campus and online)
WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED:
Must be eligible to work in the United States. There is no sponsorship for this position.
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT:
Part-time, non-benefitted.
BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.
JOB SUMMARY:
Opportunity to instruct 3 credits per semester (fall and spring) of EDUC 250:
Introduction to Education. Applicant must be able to instruct both the online and on-campus section of this course.
Minimum Requirements:
* Master's degree in Education or closely related field, or Master's degree in another field with 18 graduate credits in Education.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups
* Experience working within an online learning environment
* Highly-motivated and self-directed
Preferred Qualifications:
* Documented successful teaching skills
* Experience with Microsoft Suite and Blackboard Learning Management System
* Experience with the North Dakota University System
SALARY:
Per LRSC scale: LRSC Policy 400.35
