Job Summary:
The Experienced Parent (EP) is a parent who has participated and had personal experience in an Early Intervention (EI) program with their own child who will be employed by Anne Carlsen during this time limited Statewide project in North Dakota. The EP will connect with assigned parents to offer support while going through similar challenges to their own experiences. This program is a State sponsored short term project that Anne Carlsen has been accepted to participate in with the Early Intervention programs.
Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
Education and/or years' experience required:
- Experience with participation as a parent in an Early Intervention program with their own child or children
- Valid North Dakota Driver's License
Preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, North Dakota Early Intervention systems, and regional policies and procedures
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
