Lake Region State College invites applications for a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor/Program Coordinator. This position plays a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the college’s Sonography and Radiologic Technology programs.
The coordinator will blend instructional expertise, program leadership, and administrative oversight to ensure program excellence, accreditation compliance, and strong graduate outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring both classroom teaching experience and clinical imaging expertise, preparing students for certification and successful careers in the healthcare field.
Scheduling Diagnostic Lab Tests Online Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and assess Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Radiologic Technology curriculum.
- Deliver instruction through online and in-person formats, integrating current technologies and best practices.
- Facilitate laboratory and clinical learning experiences that support student competency and confidence.
- Mentor and advise students, providing academic and career guidance.
- Serve as liaison with hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers to coordinate clinical placements and partnerships.
- Maintain program accreditation standards and documentation.
- Collaborate with college leadership on budget management, student recruitment, and program improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to LRSC’s mission of providing high-quality, career-focused education in healthcare.
- Education and experience sufficient to meet Lake Region State College faculty qualification standards.
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).
- Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Current or prior certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Experience in clinical imaging environments.
- Previous teaching or training experience in higher education or clinical settings.
- Salary: $50,000 – $67,000 annually (based on qualifications and experience).
