** What You'll Do
** As an Environmental Services Aide, you'll help maintain the cleanliness and safety of patient care areas, public spaces, and work environments throughout the organization.  In this role, you will:

Clean and disinfect patient rooms, treatment areas, and common spaces

Prepare discharged and transferred patient rooms for new admissions

Follow healthcare cleaning and infection prevention standards

Maintain environmental services equipment, carts, and supplies

Collect, transport, and dispose of waste according to established procedures

Assist with room turnover to support efficient patient flow Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment

Participate in departmental quality and performance initiatives

Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and coworkers

Support organizational safety and infection prevention efforts

** Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties safely and effectively

** Previous housekeeping or healthcare environmental services experience

Knowledge of infection prevention standards

** Frequent standing and walking

Ability to bend, stoop, and reach

Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment

Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks  
** Education, Certifications & Licensure
** High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Environmental services or housekeeping training preferred
