Role: Occupational Therapist (OT) providing therapy services in an acute care setting.
- Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, assist patients in regaining daily skills, assess home and workplace environments, educate families and employers, recommend and instruct on equipment use, and document progress for reporting and billing purposes. - Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), NBCOT-OTR certification, BLS certification, and state-specific license. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology required. - Skills:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods; excellent assessment and communication skills; capacity to work with diverse patient populations requiring functional improvements.
