Night Auditor — Graveyard Shift On-Site Housing

Summary/Objective

As a member of the lodging team, a Night Auditor will report to the Lodging Manager. The Night Auditor primarily operates the front desk during the night shift and assists guests with inquiries during that time.

• Works mainly with numbers and reports.
• Handles all guest issues as they arise during the night hours.
• Treats requests with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner.
• Is able to make and answer telephone calls.
• Maintains knowledge of hotel policies including room rates, discounts, special offerings, and events.
• Maintains knowledge of upcoming events, local area, and hotel offerings.
• Ensures the lobby and shared areas are neat and orderly, including occasional sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting of workspace.
• Restocks toiletries as needed.
• Participates in workplace safety training sessions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

This job operates in a hotel/motel front office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. It is performed indoors, often alone, with occasional interaction with others.

This is a full‑time seasonal position. The employee will work the graveyard shift.

There are no supervisory responsibilities with this role.

Other duties may be assigned as needed, and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

The physical demands of this job include continuous talking, hand/eye coordination, frequent sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive use of hands and arms. The employee may need to bend, climb, reach overhead, grasp, lift, and carry up to 100 pounds. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus for accurate work.

TRMF is located in Medora, North Dakota, in the heart of the Badlands.
