Position: Associate, Executive Recruiting

About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Recruiting Associate to work directly with our Executive Recruiting Managers to help support the recruiting efforts of FTI Consulting’s Executive Recruiting team. This position offers the opportunity for growth, exposure to multiple HR functions, and a great team environment!

What You’ll Do
  • Schedule and coordinate phone, in‑person, and video interviews for candidates and internal stakeholders across multiple time zones; provide prompt support for interviews, including handling last‑minute cancellations, rescheduling, and on‑site logistical issues.
  • Support the Executive Recruiting Team with the interview and hiring process from initial job requisition posting through onboarding of new hires.
  • Coordinate marketing and advertising of job postings and post approved job descriptions.
  • Ensure candidates referred by current employees are screened and referral bonuses are properly tracked for payment.
  • Maintain candidate activity tracking scorecards and monitor candidate data and status updates in Avature and Taleo.
  • Generate reports for Recruiting Leads and contribute to recruiting projects such as metrics and interview training.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Executive candidates throughout the interview process, sending confirmations and supporting materials.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Avature and track interview feedback, following up with interviewers.
  • Create and post job descriptions internally and externally, prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation.
  • Coordinate candidate travel and submit expenses and invoices for candidate travel expenses.
  • Partner closely with Recruiters, HR Business Partners, Legal and the Compensation Team.

Basic Qualifications
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or scheduling experience; executive leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office;
    Outlook calendar is critical.
  • Experience with ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Workday, Taleo, Avature) preferred.
  • High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional polish and executive presence.
  • Ability to manage high‑volume scheduling under tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong follow‑through and responsiveness; experience supporting senior‑level stakeholders.
  • Ability to work additional hours and travel to FTI offices if needed.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; visa sponsorship not provided.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Long‑term interest in recruiting or HR.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Technically savvy with proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
  • Ability to provide accurate, efficient service under constant deadlines, and to organize tasks and prioritize.
  • Experience gathering data, tracking metrics, and preparing reports.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems such as Taleo.
  • Experience as an executive assistant, recruiting assistant or event planner.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
Compensation

Minimum Pay: $57,500. Maximum Pay: $101,000.
