Universal Worker/CNA – Full‑Time PM Shift (3 PM TO 11 PM) – Eventide Lake Country Manor

Shift: 3 PM–11 PM, 64 hours per pay period, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Receive an $2 hour evening shift differential added to the base wage.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality and safe personal care assistance to senior living tenants consistent with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as Eventide policies.
  • Assist tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist tenants with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises.
  • Observe and/or assist with medications that may have been ordinarily self‑administered. May give oral and trans‑dermal medications, patches, eye drops, topical ointments, and suppositories under the direction of the nurse.
  • Read and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
  • Provide adequate nutrition and fluid intake through meal preparation.
  • Perform blood sugar testing and document results.
  • Provide tenants with emotional and cognitive support.
  • Socialize with tenants: listen, converse, and participate in appropriate activities such as reading mail and writing letters.
  • Give guidance, redirection, and reorientation to tenants as needed.
  • Develop rapport with tenants and families to understand their needs and interests.
  • Document in tenant records promptly and as instructed.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and review of the tenant’s plan of care.
  • Recognize and report significant changes in the tenant’s health, behavior, or general appearance to the nurse.
  • Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
  • Recognize emergencies and carry out emergency procedures according to policy.
  • Promptly report any occurrences of physical or mental abuse or potential vulnerable‑adult reports to a supervisor.
  • Review communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes.
  • Clean apartments, service areas, and common areas.
  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold personal clothing and linens.
  • Restock supplies as needed.
  • Assist with serving meals in the dining room.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Must have a current ND CNA license or be able to obtain one upon hire.
Compensation & Benefits

Estimated hourly pay range: $18–$20.16 per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials may also apply.
