Shift: 3x12 rotating (Days/Nights)

• Hospital setting

• Provide direct nursing care for labor and delivery patients in accordance with policy and protocol
• Develop and implement a plan of care based on assessment, including discharge planning and patient education
• Assess patient condition, manage pain, identify early warning signs, and initiate escalation or emergency measures as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; document observations and ensure timely referrals and follow-up
• Coordinate education for patients and families; participate in discharge planning and ensure safe transfer of care
• Assign or delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice and maintain accurate, concise charting

• Active RN license in North Dakota or a Compact State (ND Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement) prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS);
  Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); STABLE; all prior to start date
• Ability to work a 3x12 rotating shift schedule in a hospital setting
• Education:
  
  Graduated from an accredited nursing program and earned RN licensure
• Experience:
  
  Labor & Delivery or acute care nursing experience; travel nursing experience is advantageous but not required
