Registered Nurse (RN)

This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a skilled nursing facility. The position requires adherence to all healthcare protocols and guidelines while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
• Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress in medical records accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and ongoing care needs.
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.
• Flu vaccination is required during flu season (October 1 - April 30), with no declinations permitted.
• Compliance with tuberculosis (TB) testing requirements:
  Acceptable tests include TB PPD, TSPOT, or TB Quant. Chest X-rays are required for positive results, accompanied by a physician's letter and TB consent form documented in the facility folder.
• Testing for THC is mandatory.
• All medical declinations will be reviewed on an individual basis by the clinical team.
