General Trades Maintenance Worker

Salary Range: $3,871 - $4,200/month. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The Office of the Adjutant General does not provide sponsor ships. As the General Trades Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing electrical and HVAC work for the Camp Grafton Training Center and its training areas. The Training Center which is located in Devils Lake, ND consists of approximately 200 buildings and provides year-round training for soldiers from across the nation.

The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list. The General Trades Maintenance Worker will require the ability to perform maintenance work on electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical problems, install and maintain distribution boxes, switching gear, power and control circuits. You will be performing HVAC maintenance and repair work using construction drawings, maintenance manuals, checklist and system diagrams, wire newly constructed facilities and rewire buildings that are being remodeled, repair all types of water and booster heaters, hand tools and cords.

This position will assist other trades as needed and perform other duties as required or assigned. To be eligible, this position requires a high school diploma or GED and work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Requires applying standards and specifications of the National Electrical Code. Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation are required.
