General Laborer – Millwright

This position requires travel during the week & overnights; as well as ability to work at heights.

The Millwright Laborer is responsible for the general labor of the installation of our metal grain bins and accessories.

• Efficiently and accurately assist with the installation and maintaining of grain storage equipment such as bucket elevators, conveyors, distributors, augers, spouting, legs, storage bins and tanks, structural towers, catwalks, platforms, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of each job site
• Assist in loading, unloading, lifting, and moving of materials, parts, and tools, to and from site
• Perform welding duties, such as flat, vertical, and overhead stick welding
• Operate hand & power tools, and other equipment as required to complete projects

• Manual labor and construction experience preferred
• Grain equipment installation experience a plus; welding experience preferred
• Basic ability to read a tape measure, blueprints and have basic math skills
• Ability to work at heights

• Required to travel overnights on a constant basis
• Required to work long hours in adverse weather conditions

• Routinely sitting, walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling (ability to climb stairs, ladders, and roof ladders regularly), as well as working at heights
• Ability to lift at least (75) pounds
• Working near moving mechanical parts; near noise routinely, and exposed to outdoor elements
