* We are proud of our team and due to continued expansion are looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Gas Engineer/Fitter. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation and maintenance work on a range of commercial and industrial projects, as well as having the ability to input cost variations back to senior management and mentor apprentices as required.

A team member with the ability to work on his own with minimal supervision and a can-do attitude is fundamental to this position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of commercial heating, ventilation and pipework installations. Due to the wide range of works we undertake; the role would appeal to those looking to broaden and develop their existing skills and experience.

* Key Responsibilities:

* - Undertake both maintenance and installation work across commercial and industrial sites and projects.

- Work with various plumbing systems including Press-fit, Soldered, ABS, and PVC.

- Perform installations following working drawings

- Provide details to colleagues for the development of quotations for additional works.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Ability to lookahead, plan and work to tight deadlines.

* Essential Requirements:
* - Commercial gas qualification

- Level 2 Plumbing qualification or significant time served (minimum).

- Able to demonstrable 5 years’ experience working in a commercial environment

- Possess a good understanding of mechanical building services.

- Able to identify different plant and equipment associated with mechanical building services.

- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.

- Demonstrable experience in a commercial plumbing and heating installations

- Familiarity with a range of plumbing systems including Press-fit, Soldered, ABS, and PVC.

- Ability to work independently, showing initiative, as well as part of a team.

- Full UK driving licence.

* Monday to Friday

* Overtime

* Reliably travel to clients and projects generally within 1.5 hrs of our Devizes office

Depending on experience £48,000.00 to £52,000.00 plus overtime rates
