We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level

As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level
2) you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues—Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, Administrators—and others, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a safe and secure environment for all.

• Work with the Facilities Maintenance Team to maintain, repair, and install plumbing and mechanical systems across the prison.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, administrators) to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures and support the prison’s rehabilitation and positive change mission.

• NVQ Level 2 certificate in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.

Holidays: 25 days per year plus bank holidays.
