Clubhouse Manager

Springbrook Country Club in DeWitt, Iowa, is a private, 18 hole golf club established in 1921, featuring a challenging course with mature trees, sand traps, and water hazards, plus amenities like a driving range, practice green, and golf simulators. It offers dining, social events, and various membership options. The course ia known for its distinct front nine (over 100 years old) and newer back nine, offering a varied experience.

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Clubhouse Manager located at Springbrook Country Club in DeWitt, IA. The Clubhouse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the clubhouse, ensuring that guests and members receive exceptional service. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating events, ensuring the facility is maintained to high standards, managing budgets, and overseeing food and beverage operations. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to deliver a high-quality member experience.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in supervising and training staff
• Strong knowledge of golf, operations, and events/tournaments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media, tournament/handicap apps, and club management software (Clubessential)
• Experience with event coordination and facility management
• Proficiency in hospitality-related operations, including food and beverage management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage budgets effectively
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges with professionalism
• Experience in the hospitality, event management, or relevant industry is preferred
