Overview
Our Guardian Glass facility in DeWitt, IA is seeking a Warehouse Operator. The starting pay is $21.00 per hour, increasing to $21.50 at six months and $22.00 at one year. You will be paid daily.
Work ScheduleThe DuPont schedule is a rotating 12‑hour schedule that alternates between day and night shifts. Employees work blocks of 3‑4 shifts at a time with scheduled days off in between, and each rotation includes a full 7‑day break. The schedule includes extended time off compared to a traditional Monday‑Friday schedule; time off is subject to operational needs and mandatory overtime may be scheduled.
ShiftTimes
- Day Shift: 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM
- Be part of the team that keeps production moving by safely moving product throughout the plant by ABV, forklift or crane.
- Perform tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling up to 75 pounds, walking, climbing, stooping, and standing, up to 12 hours per day, in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
- Cros‑train in all facets of the warehouse and potentially other departments.
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Experience driving a forklift truck or crane.
- Experience operating machinery or hands‑on mechanical work.
