Youth Minister

Landmark Christian Church is a healthy, growing, multi-ethnic, independent congregation affiliated with the Christian Churches. We average about 650 people in worship on Sundays. We are situated in a diverse community of predominantly professional people, and our church reflects that diversity. The candidate should be a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and have an obvious calling to minister to students. We are looking for someone who has integrity, energy, creativity, and a strong desire to see students and their families grow in their relationship with Jesus. We want our Youth Pastor to share in our mission to Love God, Love People, and Serve Compassionately.

Our new Youth Minister will:

• Oversee all aspects of ministry to Jr. High, High School, and Young Adults.
• Recruit, train, and empower the Youth Leadership Team of volunteers.
• Supervise and mentor youth ministry interns.
• Be the primary teacher of the Word to our students.
• Report directly to the Senior Pastor

• Has a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Has an exceptional ability to relate to teens and their families.
• Possess excellent skills in leadership, organization, team building, and teaching.
• Has a desire to create engaging content that communicates Biblical truths that young people need to hear and learn.
• A Leader who has a vision for the church and families working together to build faith in the next generation.
• Creative! A person loves to innovate ways to better connect with teens and helps connect them with God and others.
• A desire to help teens discover the value of service
• A recruiter who can attract, disciple, and retain a team of volunteer leaders around you who share your creativity and passion.
• A team player, working with the rest of the staff team to accomplish shared goals and vision.
• Has a degree from a Christian College or University (preferred)
• Has experience working with teens in a church setting.
