Student Services Assistant​/Front Desk Worker

The Student Services/Assistant/Front Desk Worker position involves providing support to students at Horizon University. This person works to improve the well-being and academic success of students by assisting programs and services that address student needs, including academic advising, career development, extracurricular activities, and social media.

• Manage and oversee all student services programs and activities to promote a positive student learning environment and development opportunities.
• Manage Horizon University’s social media for communication with students.
• Work with student groups and other university members in developing extracurricular activities, assuring integration with academic life and encouraging personal development.
• Coordinate all aspects of the school's student support services, including counseling, disability services and accommodations, and referrals for housing and health insurance.
• Create and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations to provide additional support and resources for students.
• Purchasing office supplies

• Previous experience working with students at the college level is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in Mandarin

Pay: $20 per hour, Part-time or Full-time
