Key Responsibilities
  • Robotics Software Development & Autonomous Systems:
Design, develop, and deploy control systems for quadruped robots; build autonomous inspection routines, navigation logic, and mission orchestration; integrate thermal imaging, acoustic sensors, LiDAR, vision, and other sensors; implement edge‑based real‑time anomaly detection; ensure operational robustness in wet, dynamic bottling environments.
  • Fleet Management Platform Development:
Architect scalable fleet‑management software for multiple robotic assets; design mission scheduling, battery optimization, health monitoring, and alerting; develop cloud‑edge sync frameworks; integrate robotic outputs into CMMS, ticketing platforms (e.g., mCAPA), historians, and analytics; establish secure API‑based integrations and microservices.
  • AI Architecture & Intelligent Manufacturing Agents:
Design AI agents for condition‑based, predictive, prescriptive maintenance, diagnostics, and root‑cause analysis; develop time‑series anomaly detection models; build LLM‑enabled operator assistants and decision‑support systems; implement MLOps practices (model lifecycle, monitoring, retraining, governance); support digital twin and manufacturing intelligence initiatives.
  • Industrial Systems Integration:
Integrate robotics and AI with PLC/SCADA and protocols (OPC‑UA, MQTT, Modbus, TCP/IP); design standardized data acquisition across diverse asset families; ensure performance, reliability, cybersecurity, and scalability; support pilot deployments and enterprise‑scale rollouts.
  • Technical Communication & Cross‑Functional Leadership:
Deliver technical presentations to plant operations, engineering, IT, and executive stakeholders; translate complex AI/robotics concepts into measurable business value and ROI; participate in design reviews, roadmap discussions, and change management during technology adoption.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in robotics systems, AI engineering, or industrial automation.
  • Demonstrated deployment of production‑grade software in real‑world operational environments.
  • Proficiency in ROS2 or equivalent robotics frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ (motion planning, SLAM, perception, computer vision).
  • Experience developing and deploying machine‑learning models (time‑series preferred); knowledge of LLM integration, embeddings, prompt engineering, and retrieval‑augmented architectures.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model versioning.
  • Understanding of PLC/SCADA platforms and industrial communication protocols; experience integrating edge systems with cloud analytics.
  • Strong analytical and systems‑thinking mindset; ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high‑growth environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical depth into business outcomes.
  • Collaborative and cross‑functional working style.
  • Proof of successful deployment of quadruped robotics and fleet management platforms; integration of robotic outputs into enterprise maintenance systems; deployment of AI‑based predictive models; and executive‑level roadmap presentation.
  • Los Angeles County  applicants only.
