PositionStaff Process Engineer – Aseptic and Beverage (100% Travel)
Responsibilities- Independently design batching and CIP systems for water and beverage lines, including cold fill, hot fill, CSD, and aseptic.
- Scope projects and obtain equipment quotes from vendors for new beverage processing lines.
- Lead new beverage technologies, cost savings, efficiency improvements, equipment retrofits, process improvements, and new product rollouts.
- Provide technical support to other departments and troubleshoot process equipment such as UHT, Aseptic valve cluster, and Aseptic tank.
- Apply strong understanding of PLC programming (Rockwell/OOP, HMI Wonderware, Ignition) and collaborate with OEMs on batching and process systems.
- Collaborate with vendors, corporate project managers, and operations to support equipment installation and ensure successful commissioning.
- Maintain compliance with process authorities and FDA related certifications and validations.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and develop business plans to realize savings.
- Travel requirement – 10x4 schedule 80–100% (domestic and international).
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 6
Years of experience in beverage processing or manufacturing environment. - 6
Years of experience in engineering project management (including a combination of work experience and education). - Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+Years of experience in beverage processing or manufacturing environment.
- 10+Years of experience in engineering project management (including a combination of work experience and education).
- In-depth knowledge of batching and CIP systems for beverage manufacturing lines.
- Great knowledge of beverage products and processes (hot fill, cold fill, CSD, low acid aseptic).
- Strong understanding of the CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, Verification) process.
- Project management skills: planning, budgeting, schedule tracking, vendor management, and cost controls.
- Strong verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work well in collaborative group environments and independently with limited direction.
- Good technical writing and presentation skills; proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Minimum
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (work experience and education may be combined). - Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Typical Compensation Range: $ – $ per year (Salary) with a 10% annual bonus target.
