Overview
The (Sr.) FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities across the organization. This position is expected to deliver accurate analysis, insights, and recommendations to help evaluate business performance and support decision-making. Depending on experience level, the analyst will either focus on executing core FP&A tasks or take on more advanced responsibilities such as developing financial models, streamlining processes, and presenting findings to senior leadership.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship (including H-1B transfers).
- Prepare monthly P&L reports for assigned departments or business units.
- Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on key drivers behind financial performance.
- Contribute to financial forecasts and the annual budgeting process.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and scenario analysis (greater ownership expected lyst level).
- Track departmental expenses and provide cost analysis to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in preparing management reporting packages and presentations;
Sr. Analysts may present directly to leadership. - Support the optimization of financial reporting systems and processes.
- Participate in ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned.
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. CPA/MBA/advanced degree a plus.
- Analyst: 2-3 years of Accounting, Finance, or FP&A experience.
- Sr. Analyst: at least 4-5+ years of FP&A or relevant Finance experience, with proven ability to handle advanced modeling and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; BI tools (e.g., Tableau/Power BI) a plus.
- Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, Workday Adaptive, or similar.
- Solid understanding of P&L statements and expense allocation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Mental Functions: Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor's guidelines.
Physical Functions: Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant keyboarding and telephone usage.
