IT Manager – Infrastructure
The IT Manager – Infrastructure is responsible for managing all departmental processes, including production support, project delivery, staff management, budgeting, and vendor management. The position oversees the organization’s data technology operations and ensures the IT functions meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and business operations.
Essential Functions- Contributes to the planning and maintenance of the organization’s data technology operations, including computer hardware, software, and telecommunications.
- Participates in the evaluation, development, and recommendation of solutions specific to the entire organization and to individual departments.
- Coordinates and schedules transitions from existing to new platforms and systems.
- Monitors the organization’s technology needs and selects new solutions.
- Defines and executes strategic and tactical goals, working with leaders to develop technology plans, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals and standards.
- Assists with monitoring the utilization and efficiency of technology.
- Manages daily operational processes.
- Defines and executes staff development plans.
- Mentors and motivates staff.
- Manages departmental budget.
- Manages and executes departmental projects to ensure delivery dates are met.
- Provides status updates to senior IT management and keeps them apprised of departmental status and issues.
- Manages vendors and maintains maintenance agreements with all suppliers.

- Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in SD‑WAN (Palo Alto Prisma), Diverse Internet Providers (Dual DIA), 4G/5G Connectivity, Palo Alto Firewalls (Global Protect), and Cisco Firewalls (VPN).
- 8+ years of managing large‑scale projects and deployments.
- 6+ years of managing a team of direct reports.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in SD‑WAN (Palo Alto Prisma), Diverse Internet Providers (Dual DIA), 4G/5G Connectivity, Palo Alto Firewalls (Global Protect), and Cisco Firewalls (VPN).
- 10+ years of managing large‑scale projects and deployments.
- 8+ years of managing a team of direct reports.
- Preferred experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
- Additional Expected
Competencies:- Proven people leadership: mentoring, coaching, training, performance goals, reviews, team building, and engagement.
- Strong knowledge of data‑driven decisions for proactive network monitoring and management.
- Familiarity with routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, e‑BGP); VLANs and VLAN trunks.
- Experience with Cisco 9200/9300/9500 and Nexus 5K/7K.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and relationship building.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Teamwork orientation and outstanding customer/client focus.
- Strong technical capacity.
- Minimum
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. - Preferred: MBA in Computer Science or related field.
Salary range: $ – $ per year
Bonus Target: 10% annual
