The Power BI Developer will lead thedesign, strategy, and governanceof the enterprise BI platform using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves assessinginfrastructure requirements, defining best practices, guiding BI Engineers, enabling security, handling large data, and ensuringscalable, high-performing BI solutions that align with business needs.

Key Requirements:

• Designscalable BI solutions with a focus on infrastructure, capacity, and licensing needs.
• Conductcapability assessments to align Power BI adoption with enterprise goals.
• Define and enforce
  
  Power BI governance frameworks, including security, data access, and workspace strategy.
• Provideeffort estimationsand delivery planning for BI initiatives.
• Establish and manage acentral metric storefor standardized KPIs and calculations.
• Oversee data refresh automation, monitoring, and troubleshootingat scale.
• Guide and mentor BI Engineers onbest practices in DAX, modeling, performance optimization, and visualization standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in designing scalable Power BI solutions.
• Expertise inDAX, Power Query (M), Tabular Models, and large semantic/OLAP models.
• Skilled inrefresh automation, monitoring, and troubleshootinglarge models.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Create clear, interactive dashboards that make data easy for stakeholders to understand.
• Troubleshoot and speed up slow reports by optimizing measures and data structures.
• Manage report security, including Row-Level Security (RLS), to protect sensitive info.
• Work closely with business teams to turn their questions into helpful visual reports.
