IT Functional Analyst II – Oracle Fusion Cloud PTP
The IT Systems Functional II will work within the IT Team to support the overall system and network needs of Niagara’s corporate office and plants.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot daily operational system issues to define root cause and develop temporary/permanent solutions.
- Work with the business to understand and document requirements, determine design and approach, configure, and test various applications to deliver and support business needs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage minor project implementations.
- Analyze the supply chain process to identify opportunities for process and system improvements, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
- Organize, schedule, and run meetings to identify supply chain opportunities and system needs.
- Document meeting minutes, action items, issues, and risks; create SOP, training materials, and process flows.
- Train superintendents and end users on new functionality and process changes.
- Plan, track, and deliver tasks and timelines; provide escalation and status updates.
- Provide 24/7 support (scheduled and off‑hours).
- Write use cases, business rules, swim‑lane diagrams, and activity flow diagrams to articulate and represent business processes.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert for Oracle Fusion Cloud PTP and collaborate with application vendors to resolve defects.
- Guide other IT resources and proactively identify and address defects independently.
- Minimum 2years’ experience in a manufacturing or similar field.
- Minimum 2years’ experience in a similar position.
- Minimum 2years’ experience managing people or projects.
- Preferred: 4years’ experience in a manufacturing/field environment and 2years’ experience managing people or projects.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, Computer Science or Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in a related field.
