Part-time Associate Veterinarian (2 days/week) with relief shifts available Saturday‑Sunday (8 am‑6 pm) to join our team.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinarian to provide high‑quality care and build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, and collaborate closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive patient exams and medical work‑ups
- Client communication and education
- Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Pharmacy duties such as prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols
- Promoting teamwork and staff efficiency
- Collaborating with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations
- Evaluating and monitoring protocols for the daily running of the hospital from intake to discharge
- Monitoring cases and attending daily rounds when possible to ensure the highest standards are upheld
- Participating in practice management updates and training at all levels
- Performing other duties as assigned by Management
- Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university
- Current State Veterinary License
- DEA registration obtained and maintained
- 1+ year of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent surgical and dental skills
- Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high‑quality veterinary care
- Ability to communicate with clients, medical staff, and manage information efficiently
- Comfort with handling stressed or ill pets
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform moderately demanding tasks
- Clinical knowledge and skill in examining and assessing animals across multiple systems
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making in a high‑quality veterinary hospital
- Effective communication of diagnostic and therapeutic options to clients and staff
- Professionalism and ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Business acumen related to hospital management and finances
- Knowledge of ethical principles guiding patient care
- Commitment to continuing education and teaching others

Pay Range
$80,000 — $90,000 USD
