Job Description Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing duties, ensuring proper setup of the bar area and tables according to standards.
  • Deliver exceptional food and beverage service, adhering to departmental standards and LQA service standards.
  • Greet patrons warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages promptly and at the correct temperature.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
  • Up-sell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue, cross-selling other dining venues when necessary.
  • Handle guest complaints and comments tactfully, reporting any issues to management promptly.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, hygiene, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Supervise assigned work stations and assist in overseeing outlet operations in the absence of management.
  • Collaborate with other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times or when required.
  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as assigned by management, staying updated on hotel services, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage & cocktail preparation techniques and recipes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & Power Point
