Assessing Office Assistant
The Assessing Office Assistant provides essential clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for the public and staff, delivering excellent customer service while managing records, coordinating meetings, and supporting departmental functions.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM & Friday 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM Salary: $18.03 - $19.91 per hour, depending on experience Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Benefited, up to 20 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide property information and respond to public inquiries
- Perform data entry, filing, and records management
- Process property tax credit applications
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and take minutes
- Assist with correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets
- Support boards, committees, and department staff
- Maintain accurate, confidential files and databases
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of six (6) months of clerical, administrative, or related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Valid Driver's License
