Planning Team Lead

Overview

The Planning Team Lead reports to the Contracts Coordinator and is responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are met when releasing product to the production floor. This position is critical to the function of all programs and oversees Planners and Planning Assistants to maintain a continuous data flow from the customer, providing accurate schedule and material requirement information. The Planning Team Lead communicates concise and clear data, works to eliminate waste, provides a stable workflow while meeting program schedules, improves processes, and assists the team in process improvements.

• Oversee Planners and Planning Assistants and maintain data flow from the customer.
• Ensure accurate scheduling and material requirement information.
• Communicate concise, accurate, and clear data to stakeholders.
• Reduce waste and support a stable workflow while meeting program schedules.
• Drive process improvements and assist the team in identifying opportunities.
• Oversee overall flow of data and communication of program requirements.

• Knowledge and understanding of planning and master scheduling.
• Understanding of the importance of accurate data for KMM Procurement activities to ensure timely material delivery for production and meet customer expectations and schedules.
• Pre‑employment drug screen required.
