Labor & Delivery / Pediatrics Unit

Level II Nursery

Supportive environment with:

Experienced nursing teams

OB/GYNs, anesthesia, respiratory therapists

Local pediatricians for consults

NICU backup located in Bismarck (90 miles)

Key Responsibilities

Attend vaginal deliveries when requested

Attend all scheduled and emergent C-sections

Admit and discharge newborns

Provide inpatient pediatric care

Perform circumcisions

Required Procedures

Circumcisions

Newborn resuscitation

Intubations and UVC placement

Lumbar punctures

EMR

Meditech

Credentialing & Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

North Dakota license or IMLC

ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP

Clean malpractice history

NPDB Self-Query dated within 30 days of submission

Emergency privileges available

Additional Notes

Level II nursery; deliveries under 36 weeks transferred when possible

Collaborative pediatric call coverage with regional partners

Strong working relationships and well-established workflows
