Environmental Specialist

Job Duties

• Environmental Compliance & Reporting
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and company policies
• Assist with Title V and NSR permitting, including required reporting and certifications
• Gather and manage data for regulatory programs (e.g., CERCLA, EPCRA, SARA, LDAR, GHG)
• Support SPCC compliance, including spill response, remediation, and reporting
• Program Support & Auditing
• Assist in implementing and maintaining environmental programs and procedures
• Participate in compliance audits and support corrective actions
• Maintain organized environmental records and documentation
• Communicate updates on compliance status and environmental performance
• Operational Support
• Partner with operations and maintenance teams to integrate environmental best practices
• Assist with environmental reviews and permitting for projects
• Support waste management and remediation activities
• Act as a point of contact for regulatory interactions and inspections
• Develop knowledge of natural gas processing and compression operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
• Entry-level candidates welcome; senior consideration for 7+ years of experience
• Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or consulting environments
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance processes
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel overnight as needed
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety
